You can get delicious takeaways at Canterbury Umbrella. We are open from 10-3 every weekday. All our hot food is cooked on the premises in our 5* hygiene rated kitchen by Robert our highly acclaimed chef. If you prefer, we also have fresh coffee, paninis  and a large selection of sandwiches.  Our prices are very reasonable and remember that every time you use our cafe you are supporting our vital work.

We are delighted to welcome babyballet.co.uk to Canterbury Umbrella. They have decided to hire our function room every week for their classes They make learning to dance a magical experience for every child aged 6months to 6 years. The room is perfect for their needs!

Leighs Foundation

We are so grateful to Leigh's Foundation who has been providing weekly food parcels throughout August for us to distribute to some of our more vulnerable members. These parcels enable recipients to be able to cook healthy meals throughout the week. Many people are still feeling vulnerable and are reluctant to leave home, so without these donations, they would be at risk. We hope that people will feel confident enough to come back to the social Health Kitchen when it reopens on 7th September. We are thrilled to announce that we have just been awarded a grant from the Kent Community Foundation as part of the KCF Resilience Grants funding. This is tremendous news and will enable us to open in September with the knowledge that we can develop our service to provide the type of help that our members request in a safe environment. We are really looking forward to developing our exciting program of support over the next few months.
