Drop in listening service
Our drop in service is open to people over the age of 18 who are seeking support for their mental health and/or are lonely or isolated.
Staff are available to talk, listen and signpost to relevant services to ensure that we create a care pathway that aims for recovery and self management.
We promote, encourage and enable confidence and understanding.
Accessible Toilets on both floors.
A lovely garden, maintained by our Members.
Just beyond our area are the picturesque Westgate Gardens.
A limited amount of free parking spaces are available at the Centre.

Social Health Kitchen
Within the Canterbury Umbrella Hub we have The Social Health Kitchen, serving superb lunches and snacks in a friendly and welcoming environment. All our menus are carefully selected to give a balanced and healthy selection of mouthwatering dishes at very reasonable prices.
We are very proud to be one of the very few establishments in Canterbury to hold a 5 Star Hygiene and Catering Certificate.
We promise you a very warm welcome and a pleasant visit.
Our Social Health Kitchen cafe has seating for approximately 30 people and a soft seating area to relax.
On the first floor is the Rotary Room, the second largest area within the Centre. This area is our umbrella day services hub, where all our activities like Pool, Table Tennis, Darts and our weekly Fitness & Yoga activities take place. We do have a lift making it fully accessible for all. We also have tablets available for your use.
This room is also used to hold meetings and events, not only by us but also by other organisations who rent the area. This area can easily accommodate 30 people, in comfort.

Voluntary Sector: £15 per hour
Associated Mental Health Public Sector Bodies: £10 per hour
Private and other Public Sector: £20 per hour
Prices may vary at weekends
With soft seating and a beautiful view over Westgate gardens this room offers a safe space to relax and unwind. The quiet room is unavailable on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
